Fully Active iTron Horn System
The Uno SD iTron is a scaled-down, fully active reference version of the classic Duo system, engineered to deliver the exceptional clarity, dynamics, and authority of the Duo in a more compact enclosure. Its 500 mm spherical midrange horn provides wide-bandwidth reproduction down to 300 Hz, creating an exceptionally open and immediate sound presentation.
The midrange and tweeter drivers are powered by Avantgarde Acoustic's proprietary patented iTRON Current Drive technology. Instead of relying on conventional voltage-driven amplification, iTRON delivers current directly to the drivers, providing precise control over voice-coil acceleration and enabling a direct, crossover-free signal path.
At the heart of the midrange section is the Evolution XM1 127 mm midrange driver, engineered for large linear excursion and exceptional dynamic performance. Its SoftMesh-Compound membrane is designed to suppress internal dome resonances and minimize distortion, contributing to natural tonality, fine micro-dynamics, and high-resolution reproduction.
For high-frequency reproduction, the redesigned XT2 annular tweeter horn extends the response up to 22,000 Hz while delivering 107 dB sensitivity. Its advanced design provides outstanding resolution, extended focus, wide dispersion, and extremely low distortion.
Low-frequency performance is handled by a 10-inch XB10 high-excursion bass driver featuring a massive 153 mm (6-inch) voice coil. The large voice-coil design helps minimize power compression while maintaining controlled and dynamic bass reproduction even at high output levels.
The bass section is powered by the 500-watt G3-500 amplifier, complemented by an integrated digital sound processor (DSP). The onboard DSP provides flexible room calibration, precise bass management, and fine adjustment to suit different listening environments and personal preferences.
The Uno SD iTron combines advanced active amplification, horn-loaded efficiency, proprietary driver technology, and handcrafted construction in a compact high-end floorstanding system. It is available in a range of custom finishes to complement sophisticated listening environments.
